As long as your old mattress is clean, when it’s returned to Sleepyhead, the foam is reused for carpet underlay. Sleepyhead will turn your Sleepyhead Elements mattress into flooring underlay. We're also exploring other cool uses for the materials recycled from a Elements bed.

Is Sleepyhead Elements better than an imported mattress?

We'd like to think so. For starters, every Sleepyhead Elements mattress is made here in New Zealand by New Zealand's most trusted bed maker. If that's not enough, go in store and try it for yourself before you buy.

Is it a cheap mattress?

Sleepyhead Elements mattresses have been made to be kinder on your wallet. While you might find a cheaper mattress, chances are it won't be anywhere near as good as a Sleepyhead Elements bed.
